This meeting will be in the Large conference Room (downstairs and to the left) Its time to elect a new Board!
Every two years Shifting Sands members have the chance to choose a new board of directors. The board serves for a minimum of two years and all board members give their time and energy on a voluntary basis.
Rules for voting and running for the board are below.
1) You must be a currently paid member of Shifting Sands, for the 2027 fiscal year (deadline is January 10th for the purpose of the vote).
2) You must be at least 18 years of age to vote or run for a board position.
3) President & Treasurer positions: Only Board members who have served on the board for 2 or more consecutive years can run for these offices.
4) Prospective board members must be nominated and that nomination must be seconded, by currently paid members of Shifting Sands over the age of 18.
Elections will run in the following order and each office will be declared prior to moving to the next position.
1. President
2. Vise President
3. Treasurer
4. Director
5. Secretary
