shhh, it’s a hush-hush kind of vibe! Join us for silent reading sunday as we read banned books in solidarity and support of Banned Books Week, October 4th-10th.
Banned Books Week is an annual event that highlights the value of free and open access to information. For a list of the 2025 Most Challenged Books, click here.
Bring your banned book, your snacks, your blanket and come chill with us every first Sunday of the month! Beginning in September, we're hosting you and your favorite read for silent reading sundays!
When: Sunday, October 4, 2026 at 1:00 PM (Eastern Time)
Where: Kindred Thoughts Bookstore
What to bring: BYOBBook or shop our shelves. We have a free coffee bar but feel free to bring your favorite beverage, too!
Participants will receive a free audiobook from sponsors Libro.fm and Silent Book Club.
