Join us to celebrate the completion of the Shepherds Hill Cottage restoration project ✨We’re hosting a free community day that will be jam-packed with family-friendly fun. Featuring heritage talks on the site's rich history, live entertainment, and lawn games, there will be something for everyone!
Relax on the lawn while you learn about the history and enjoy the atmosphere. Coffee and treats will be available to purchase thanks to our friends at Eddie’s Café.
Originally built in the 1890s as a Gunner’s Quarters, Shepherds Hill Cottage has stood watch over Newcastle for more than 130 years. Closed and dormant for almost a decade, the historic cottage has now been thoughtfully transformed, entering a new era as a vibrant café/restaurant and destination, open to the public for the first time in 130 years.
📅 Saturday 10 October
