To dage med folk, country, americana, indiefolk, folkpunk og alt derimellem. Flere bands, flere formater – og endnu flere særlige koncertoplevelser.

Festivalen breder sig ud i hele Nordkraft – og videre ud i byen.
Der bliver koncerter på Skråens scener, intime koncerter hos PedalPusheren, musik hos Lakridspizza, alternative koncertoplevelser i Teater Nordkrafts campingvogn, koncerter på 13. sal og meget mere.
Kedelhallen i Nordkraft bliver Shelter From The Storms samlingssted med bl.a. pladebørs, madtorv, talks og andre oplevelser.
Festivalen præsenteres i et lokalt samarbejde med en lang række af Nordkrafts institutioner og øvrige lokale samarbejdspartner: Nordkraft, Sal 13, Øvelokaleforeningen Baghuset, Teater Nordkraft, Azzurra, DGI, Kulturskolen, PedalPusheren, Lakridspizza, Aalborg Bibliotekerne, VisitNordjylland, TapaTapas, UngAalborg og Biffen.

SHELTER FROM THE STORM IS BACK!
On May 14th + 15th, 2027, Aalborg's folk and country festival will once again take over Nordkraft – new venues added within walking distance!
Two days of folk, country, Americana, indie folk, folk punk and everything in between. More bands, more formats – and even more special concert experiences.
And now we can finally reveal the first names!

The festival is spreading throughout Nordkraft - and further into the city.
There will be concerts on Skråen's stages, intimate concerts at PedalPusheren, music at Lakridspizza, alternative concert experiences in Teater Nordkraft's caravan, concerts on the 13th floor in Nordkraft with a view over the city and much more.
Kedelhallen in Nordkraft will be Shelter From The Storm's gathering place with, among other things, a record swap, food market, talks and other experiences.
