About this Event

Shelf Life Exhibition

Presented as part of Sydney Craft Week 2025, Kil.n.it experimental ceramics studio presents Shelf Life, an exhibition of ceramic works that explore the Sydney Craft Week theme of Material Intelligence.

Kil.n.it artists and selected studio members explore the intimate relationship between objects and books, delving into how they coexist in our personal spaces and shape our identities.

Displayed on shelves and tables, these books and objects, one made of paper and the other from fired clay, become signifiers of who we are, what we value, and where we've been.

Visitors are invited to reflect on the ways we relate to what others display - seeking resonance, connection, and maybe even ourselves in the pages and pieces presented.

The exhibition will be open from Monday to Friday, 9-5 pm and Saturdays 9-3 pm with artist’s talks events (to be scheduled)
