About this Event
Stories are told and retold to draw out relevance in our lives. When events are so all consuming and unsettling how can we use these stories to make sense of what is happening.
For the next Sheffield Writers for Palestine we will be showing a short and very powerful retelling of Antigone. We will have a chance for a short Q&A with the film makers, followed by a workshop to retell a myth or story to make sense or draw out an aspect of the genocide.
You can choose whatever myth or story you like. You might also be interested in reading this article Using Fairy Tales and Myths in your Writing.
Please arrive at 7pm so we can start the film promptly and leave ourselves room for the Q&A (it will be 5AM for the film makers).
