Valerie was shot in the head, yet she survived without a scar. Her remarkable testimony is one of preservation, perseverance, and purpose. She will share how she moved beyond a life-threatening experience and discovered that what was intended to destroy her could not cancel her future.

The Purpose of She Matters
She Matters was created to:

- Affirm the worth, dignity, and God-given value of every woman.
- Encourage honest conversations about healing and healthy relationships.
- Remind women that abuse is never deserved and silence is not required.
- Inspire survivors to move from pain to purpose and from surviving to thriving.
This experience is not only about what women have endured—it is about who they are becoming. Every woman deserves to feel safe, supported, respected, and empowered because she matters.
