About this Event
Sharing Stories Together in Nature - The Environmental Threat of Overdevelopment
Sonoma Land Trust has a rich history of land conservation spanning 50 years. Each week we’ll read from a chapter of SLT’s history, focusing on various themes. This week we'll focus on the environmental threats of overdevelopment in the 1970s, which spawned a conservation movement in Sonoma County. We’ll use this as a basis for reflecting on our own stories, with time to gather our thoughts and then share with the group.
We’ll meet at the Lone Tree on the Santa Rosa Southeast Greenway (south end of Albert Drive). Bring a camp chair or blanket and a sun hat.
