About this Event
Shared Dialogue, Shared Space Part 3.2 at HEArts Center Groundbreaking Celebration
Join Korea Art Forum for Shared Dialogue, Shared Space (SDSS) Part 3.2, featuring participatory art and community engagement at the HEArts Center Community Groundbreaking Celebration in the South Bronx.
As part of the celebration, KAF will present participatory art and community engagement activities led by SDSS artists Kelly Han, Sohhee Oh, Lucia Warck-Meister, and Mashiyat Zaman.
Through collective painting, sculpture-making, interactive participation, and shared dialogue, visitors will be invited to contribute directly to evolving artworks and become part of the creative process.
The event takes place as part of the groundbreaking celebration for the forthcoming HEArts Center — Health, Education and Arts Center, a community-driven project in Mott Haven and Port Morris.
The larger celebration will also feature live music, performances, healing practitioners, food, vendors, and community programming throughout the afternoon.
