🌍 SHAPING THE NEW GLOBAL ERA 11TH EDITION OF THE WARSAW-BEIJING FORUM
How much can the world change in just a few years? And what role do dialogue, technology and law play in shaping what comes next?
🤖 The global order is undergoing profound transformation. Rapid technological development, evolving international relations, cultural encounters and changing legal frameworks are reshaping the way societies interact and respond to emerging challenges. At the heart of these transformations lies the need for dialogue, mutual understanding and cooperation across borders.
📖 For the 11th time, the Warsaw-Beijing Forum brings together students, academics and experts from Poland, China and beyond to explore the challenges and opportunities of our changing world.
❗This year's Warsaw conference, “Shaping the New Global Era,” will take place on 24-25 October.
- The first day consisted of an on-site expert conference in the Aula Baszkiewicza WNPISM building;
- In the afternoon of 24 October 2026, the first part of the panel discussions for students, PhD students and anyone else interested will take place;
- The second day featured online student and PhD student panels and anyone else interested, combined with online experts panels.
📚 Passive Participants (Listeners)
The Conference will gather representatives of Polish, Chinese, and foreign academic institutions specializing in different domains of knowledge, as well as representatives of governmental organizations, foundations, law firms, and think tanks - providing an exceptional opportunity to engage with a great plethora of subjects. Thus, we really highly encourage you to attend the conference as listeners.

🗣️ Active Participants (Speakers)
Student/Ph.D. students/all those interested presentations will focus on three key areas:
1. Technological Revolution – Innovation Reshaping Global Rules.
Examining how emerging technologies and innovation are transforming societies, economies and the rules governing the global order.
2. Rule of Law – Institutions in a Changing World
Discussing the role of legal systems and institutions in responding to contemporary challenges and navigating a rapidly changing international environment.
3. Civilizational Dialogue – Where Diverse Traditions Meet the Modern World
Exploring encounters between different cultural and civilizational traditions, their values and their place in an increasingly interconnected world.
If your area of interest revolves around topics related to China, including, inter alia:
🥢energy and environmental sustainability,
🥢economic policy,
🥢payment technologies in global finance and investments,
🥢data protection and cybersecurity,
🥢artificial intelligence,
🥢modern perspective od labour law,
🥢transport infrastructure,
🥢geopolitics and diplomacy,
🥢legal frameworks and governance,
🥢cultural exchange and social transformation.
We cordially invite students, Ph.D. students, experienced researchers, and everyone interested in the aforementioned fields to participate actively in this event. The panels will feature papers from both students and established experts.
🔴 Abstract Submission Guidelines:
The abstract should contain a maximum of 250 words. The name of the PDF file must include the full name(s) of the author(s) and the title of the speech.
The file should also include:
* full name(s),
* affiliation,
* academic title,
* bibliography (does not count towards the word limit).

The Organizers reserve the right to select abstracts. Applicants will be informed whether their papers have been accepted by 19 October. All active speakers will receive certificates of participation.
❗Additionally, please note that the number of speakers is limited. Exact date and time of panels will be announced in first part of October. To receive a certificate of active participation, attendance at at least the majority of the conference sessions on 24 October 2026 is mandatory.
