Join us for a window into indigenous cultures. Learn about ancestral wellness and health traditions in this Workshop and dinner with Rose Khalsa a prominent Shaman from Massachusetts with 40 years of practice.
From 3PM to 6 PM there will be a workshop with a refreshment break from 6PM to 6 45 PM
At 7PM we will have Hors doeuvres and farm tasting tour followed by a 4-course dinner with further discussions led by Rose
The workshop is an engaging introduction to indigenous wellness and health through sacred practices, many of which are validated by growing scientific research.
Rose will explain the Medicine Wheel as a source of wisdom and a representation of life's journey. It is a map of the brain and the heart, both key parts of the human psyche.
Medicine Wheel Circle
The Sacred Medicine Wheel comes from the teachings of our elders here, which is called Turtle Island. I will share a description of the four sacred directions and the Center, which is called, the Children’s Fire. Using my drum, rattle and a prayerful intention, we will walk the Wheel and ask for healing. Praying from our hearts is essential for health, compassion and an understanding of what is true.
