https://www.theaterforms.com/Sportlittletheatre/Shakesinlove/auditionform/ Auditions will be held November 10, 2026, beginning at 6:45 PM at Shreveport Little Theatre. Please arrive five minutes before your scheduled audition time and check in at the theatre lobby.
Auditions will consist of sides from the script. Please email the Box Office to obtain a copy of the sides. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the story, characters, and world of Shakespeare in Love before auditions. While memorization is not expected, preparation will allow you to make strong, specific choices during your reading.
Please be sure your TheatreForms account is complete and up to date, including any relevant acting, movement, stage combat, dance, musical, or special skills. You may also bring a current résumé if you would like.
Callbacks will be held November 17th at 6:45 pm. The director will contact you directly regarding callbacks. Additional information regarding the rehearsal schedule and production dates will be provided during the audition process.
Most importantly, come prepared to play, take chances, and make bold choices. Shakespeare in Love is filled with wit, romance, comedy, theatricality, and larger-than-life personalities, so we encourage you to bring your own sense of imagination and character to the room.
We look forward to seeing you on November 10 and wish you the very best as you prepare.
