We are looking for volunteers to help prep the site for a new school garden!About this Event
Shady Lane School Garden Volunteer Day
When: October 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM (Eastern Daylight Time)
Where: Shady Lane School, 100 N Braddock Ave
Greetings!
We're looking for some of our wonderful volunteers to help move soil and prep the land for a new garden installation at Shady Lane School. We will be moving 6 yards of soil and the school is for early childhood age students, so more adult hands is extra helpful here.
Tasks will include removing tree roots, ground leveling, moving a compost delivery from the parking lot into the garden space, mixing top soil and compost to fill the beds, and making the space look fantastic. Hope to see you there!
