Every October, thousands of artists get together for Inktober, a daily ink drawing challenge. Whether you've always wanted to try, never heard of it, or just want to pick up a few tips, this workshop has something for you.
Pen is a fun and accessible medium with lots of potential. All you need is a pen and paper to make doodles, line art for colouring, or dramatic black and white drawings.
This workshop is good for beginners or experienced artists. Shading with pen can be challenging because you can't vary the darkness of the lines. In this workshop, you'll learn techniques to make various shades, break a picture down into lights, darks, and midtones, and create depth.
No supplies needed, though you can bring your favourite pen if you have one. :)
This is the second workshop in a series. It builds on the first workshop on Oct 18, Line Art with Pen, but can be taken on its own.
