Join OBCDC and the Old Brooklyn Tree Stewards for an exciting tree planting project! We will be planting new trees on Broadview Road to add shade, better air quality, and beautify the street for more residents to enjoy. All plantings will be overseen by a professional arborist. You will learn how to plant a tree under the guidance of a professional arborist, with the Old Brooklyn Tree Stewards guiding you through the process. We will be digging using shovels, planting the trees, mulching, and watering.
This tree planting will take place along a busy road. We’ll be working on the sidewalk, so please keep children close at all times. All minors must be supervised by a parent or guardian.
