Adath Jeshurun is delighted to welcome Rabbi Tamar Elad-Appelbaum, founder of ZION: An Eretz Israel Congregation and one of the most influential religious leaders in Israel. Rabbi Tamar is visiting Louisville for the Festival of Faiths and AJ is hosting her for Shabbat. We're also welcoming Yahala Lachmish as a musical guest on Saturday. Yahala will lead Shaharit and Rabbi Tamar will deliver the D'var Torah at our Shabbat Morning services which begin at 10 a.m. Services conclude around noon and a catered Kiddush Lunch will follow sponsored by the Julie Olson Shabbat Scholar Fund. During lunch, Rabbi Tamar will teach on the weekend's theme, "Jerusalem: A Teacher of Hope and Healing."
Registration is not necessary to attend Shabbat Morning services but reservations are appreciated for the Kiddush Lunch, and can be made via this link:
