SHABAKALIVE PERFORMANCE
Shabaka is a bandleader, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, his work has reshaped global perceptions of jazz and experimental music through a practice that moves fluidly between jazz, electronic, spiritual, and diasporic traditions.
Following the performances of Yussef Dayes in 2022 and Mansur Brown in 2024, this edition welcomes Shabaka Hutchings, one of the most influential and forward-thinking voices in contemporary British music, further strengthening this ongoing artistic dialogue between Tunisia and the United Kingdom.
This collaboration has become a distinctive feature of the festival through its partnership with the British Council.
