What type of activities may we engage with?
The Floor Is Lava : Using the available equipment, teams must work together to travel from one side of the facility to the other without touching the designated "lava" zones.
Human-Powered Machine : Teams must design and build a human-powered "vehicle" using the available equipment. One participant is nominated as the driver, while the remaining team members work together to transport them safely across the floor without touching the vehicle.
Blind Trust : Participants take turns navigating an obstacle course while blindfolded, relying solely on clear verbal guidance from their teammates to reach the finish safely.
Balanced Negotiation : Teams begin at opposite ends of a balance beam and must successfully pass one another while remaining on the beam at all times. Success depends on communication, cooperation, and careful planning.
Rescue Mission : An object is placed in the foam pit, and teams must retrieve it without entering or touching the foam. Participants must use strategic thinking, teamwork, and the available equipment to complete the rescue.
Photocopy : Working as a team, participants must recreate a provided image of one of Australia's elite gymnasts as accurately as possible. Success relies on observation, communication, and collaboration.
Foam Tower : Teams have 10 minutes to construct the tallest free-standing tower using foam blocks. The tallest structure still standing at the end of the challenge is declared the winner.
