Overview of SFE Technical Committee current research topics.
As sustainability moves increasingly to the forefront of the built environment, refurbishment of existing buildings is becoming ever more common. Improving the thermal performance of external walls is often a key part of this process.
The Glaser method has long been widely used to assess the moisture behaviour of external walls. With increasing knowledge and the availability of more sophisticated modelling tools, more detailed hygrothermal analysis is now possible. This technical evening will provide an overview of the method, its practical application, and the implications for projects and stakeholders, followed by a panel discussion.
Q&A with members of the SFE Technical Committee
We also welcome ideas from our members for further topics of research.
Networking and refreshments will continue after the presentations.
There will be a charge of £15 for attendees who do not have a SFE membership.
We are experiencing a high demand for tickets for events, if after you register, you are no longer able to attend, please email [email protected] to confirm so we can transfer your ticket to someone else hoping to attend.
