The Sex Ed you never got!About this Event
Ever wish you’d gotten actually useful sex ed growing up? You know, the kind that talked about pleasure and communication, and didn’t make everything feel shamey, or wildly incomplete? This workshop is that sex ed.
Join us for a playful and very queer adult sex education workshop designed for folks who want to understand sexuality and pleasure better or are unlearning some old myths about sex. This is a queer-affirming, pleasure-centered space where we get to talk about sex in ways that feel insightful and inclusive.
Together, we’ll explore topics such as:
- Understanding sexual desire and why it looks different for everyone
- Anatomy and pleasure
- Consent as a spectrum, not a checkbox
- Kink is for everyone
- STI without the fear mongering
- Communication for sexy times, including how to ask for what you want (and don’t want)
- Debunking shitty patriarchal and heteronormative myths
This workshop isn’t about telling you how sex should look. It’s about giving you language and permission to build a relationship with sex that feels true to you.
Come curious. Come with questions. Come as you are. No prior knowledge needed, just a willingness to learn and have fun in doing so :)
*The price includes the workshop. Lunch and drinks are additional.
Everyone will leave the workshop with a resourse list and we will send out all of the slides.
