What you’ll learn:
- Getting to know your sewing machine and its main parts.- How to thread your machine and wind the bobbin.- Understanding machine settings, stitches and stitch length.- Practising straight stitches and simple sewing techniques.- Basic machine care, cleaning and troubleshooting.The session is practical and beginner-friendly, with plenty of time to ask questions and practise at your own pace.
**Please bring your own sewing machine if you have one.** This allows you to learn on the machine you’ll be using at home and become familiar with its controls and settings. **Don’t worry if you don’t have a machine yet — you can use one provided at the workshop.**
