About this Event
By the end of the day you will be going home with your very own, self-made, stylish, boiled wool vest top which will be suitable to wear with a long sleeve t-shirt or dress.
What will I learn?
You will be taken through the whole process of making a garment, including adapting patterns to suit your body shape in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Who is the course for?
For improvers; this is an ideal course for those with some sewing experience, wishing to pick up new skills or to improve their sewing ability with plenty of support and practical advice throughout.
26-27 Course Dates
Wednesday 21 October 2026 10am - 4pm
Wednesday 20 January 2027 10am - 4pm
Will I have to provide anything?
The pattern will be provided in medium or large.
You will need to bring along the following items;
- Boiled Wool fabric 1 metre 60 inch wide.
- Matching thread.
- Scissors, needles, sewing machine
- Lunch.
Am I ready to start?
As soon as you have chosen your fabric and thread, you are ready. If you need further advice before the start of the course please make contact with the college.
