About this Event
Embark on a journey of craftsmanship with this introduction to sewing class that is tailored for novices. This class is designed to demystify the art of sewing and give you the basic skills for creating your own projects and crafts.
In this class you will make a 12 X 12 pillow to take home.
All materials will be provided to create a sample pillow.
Class is open to ages 16 and up; however, minors must be accompanied by an adult who has also purchased a ticket for the class.
Optional:
If you would like to bring your own material for the pillow you can bring two matching quilting squares for the front and the back material.
About the Instructor
Maria Tucker
A self-taught sewer, Maria specializes in making Renaissance faire outfits, general sewing projects, crafts, and alterations.

Class may be canceled due to low enrollment in which case a full refund will be issued.

- 7–13 days before the first class: Refund minus a 50% administrative fee.
- Fewer than 7 days before the first class: No refunds.
- Seat transfer: If you find a replacement who pays for and takes your seat before the first class begins, you are eligible for a full refund.
