A beginner friendly sewing workshop at BERNINA Singapore. No experience needed. Machines, fabric and tools included.

Always wanted to learn to sew?
Maybe your machine is still in the box. Maybe you haven't sewn since school. Or maybe you've never sewn at all.
That's perfect. In one day, you'll go from "how do I thread this?" to wearing shorts you made yourself.
What you'll make
Comfy elastic-waist shorts in light cotton block print. Wear them to lounge in around the house or as comfy sleepwear. You choose the print (week before).
What you will learn:
Lay out and cut a pattern the right way
Set up and thread a sewing machine with confidence
Sew straight seams and smooth curves
Learn the French seam and Hong Kong seam finish
Sew in an elastic waistband
Hem like a pro
Fabric selection: Options will be emailed the week before.

Block print cotton (pattern use)

This workshop is a Filming Day and is offered at a reduced rate (S$165, usual price S$240) because it will be filmed and photographed.
By booking, I agree that:

These photos and videos may be used, edited and shared on social media, websites, newsletters, online sewing courses and other promotion, now and in the future, with no payment to me.
The reduced Filming Day rate is given in exchange for this consent.
