As Autumn nears and the days get shorter let's Sew Together and see what we can create...
Start a new project, mend that item of clothing you've been meaning to revive; practice your basic stitches or have a go at sewing for the first time.
Join in a friendly, supportive group for those who love to sew and share their skills. All levels of experience are welcome, though please note this is a self-led session and no formal tuition is provided.
Tea, coffee and conversation will be available. We can supply some very basic materials for beginners but ask people to please bring their own equipment and projects.
Drop-in, Fridays 11am-1pm. Starting October 2nd.
Access info: The Turnpike Gallery Studio is on the 1st floor of Leigh Library. There is ramped access to the building and a lift to take you to the 1st floor. Toilets including an accessible toilet are available on the 1st floor.
