About this Event
As part of our ongoing exhibition in the community space, we're going to be working on some hand sewing - slip stitching binding and sewing on labels - the final steps the quilts need to go through, ready to donate.
If you have experience of quilting and would like to lend a hand, we'd love you to help us.
If you've never done any quilting, and would like to learn how to slip stitch, we will have some sample pieces you can have a go at, and take away with you after the session.
The session will be run on a drop-in basis, so just come along and spend some time with us.
We understand from the venue that you should be able to access both this session in the Low Drawing Room, and the quilt exhibition free of charge, without having to pay entry to the main house. If there are any issues with this, please ask the volunteer on Reception to come and speak to us.
