About this Event
Every other Saturday we will have a class that is purely for fun. Each of these will be for adults only and we will focus on a special skill, how to use a sewing tool, using your machines in a new way, zippers, buttonholes, drawstrings... all the fun stuff.
There's no need to have any skill in sewing! We'll be here to help with that
All supplies and machines are available for use and our instructors will help you work on the project.
Classes will include:
Zippered pouches,
pin cushions,
Quarter keepers,
Triangle pouches,
Bubble pods,
Snap key fob holder,
Oven mitts,
Hot pads,
Quick knit hats (serger skills)
Sewn slippers (serger skills)
Heat packs,
Ducky drawl string bags,
Quilted bookmarks
and tons of other little classes.
the class will be a surprise project each time, so I won't announce the project until that week.
It'll be announced on our website and on social media and on the board at the shop the week before. So be sure to follow us on all the things!!! Or just come and be surprised!
If you need extra time, the first Saturday is open sew after this program so you can always stay and finish the project, or take it home and keep working!
this is a community building event. We expect you to learn, make friends, and build confidence in skills you can use to make more art!
