Bring a little handmade warmth to your holiday table.In this beginner-friendly sewing workshop, you’ll create a festive table runner using holiday fabric of your choice. Choose classic Christmas prints, winter botanicals, something bright and playful, or a more understated pattern that fits your home.
Along the way, you’ll learn the basic steps for constructing and finishing a lined table runner, including working with fusible interfacing, layering fabrics, sewing clean seams, and assembling a piece that can come back to the table year after year. Select whether you’ll be bringing your own machine or need to use one of ours when registering.
Please bring:
1 yard of 60″-wide holiday fabric
1 yard of backing fabric, either matching or coordinating
Fusible interfacing
This is a simple, satisfying seasonal project and a lovely way to make something for your own holiday table—or create a handmade gift for someone else.
