The Severn Valley Trail Run returns on Sunday 25 April 2027, a challenging and rewarding 10k trail race based at Severn Valley Country Park. The route explores the trails, tracks and paths around the Country Park and neighbouring countryside, making the most of the Valley’s varied terrain, natural climbs and descents, and some fantastic views along the way.
🌲 THE COURSE
This is a predominantly off-road 10k on a mix of dirt paths, woodland trail, gravel and grass, with only short sections of surfaced path.
Expect plenty of undulations, a couple of climbs, rewarding downhills and some more technical sections with uneven footing. Depending on the weather, conditions underfoot may include muddy or soft section, but this isn’t an extreme mud event.
Trail shoes are recommended. Expect a scenic, varied and properly rewarding 10k through one of Shropshire’s best outdoor settings.
