About this Event
Do you ever wonder what goes on at Seven Bends when the park closes for the night? Join us for a rare opportunity to find out with a ranger led night hike. We will discuss how things such as the sky, weather, plants, and animals are affected by nightfall and then go on an easy hike to explore the sights and sounds of nature at night. This program will stretch over a mile and a half of easy trail.
We recommend that you dress appropriately for the weather and bring a headlamp or small flashlight, although we hopefully won’t need them much if it’s a clear night thanks to the full moon.
*There is no fee for this program, but an annual or daily parking pass is required.
**This program is being offered as a part of the Camp Out night at the park. You do not have to camp to participate in the program but a parking pass will be required if not paying the camping fee.
