Serhiy Zhadan in Oslo! 🇺🇦Join us for an event with Serhiy Zhadan - one of Ukraine’s best-known contemporary writers, musician, and serviceman in the 2nd Corps of Ukraine’s National Guard, Khartiia.
This is a unique opportunity to hear about contemporary Ukraine from someone who not only writes about his country but is also directly involved in defending it. We'll talk about literature, war and its impact on society, the power and limits of culture, about solidarity and the ties between people that remain even when borders separate us.
A special focus will be on Khartiia: the people behind the Corps, their choices, experiences, values and vision for Ukraine's future. The evening will also include poetry, readings, a discussion of Zhadan's new book, and time for your questions.
We welcome everyone to join the conversation about Ukraine, culture and our shared future.
This is an event in support for the joint Norwegian-Ukrainian fundraiser conducted by Fritt Ukraina and Serhiy Prytula CF.
