Sequins and Songs, the social event for barbershop quartets and quartet lovers, will return in 2027 - at a new venue! This is always a great opportunity to network with other fans of a cappella harmony singing, and ring some chords. Quartets and small groups (up to 12 singers) at all levels are welcome to perform 1-2 songs to gain performance experience in front of a supportive audience. No judging, no prizes, just the thrill of performing and a great sense of achievement. We welcome ensembles with members of any gender. You don't need to sing barbershop arrangements either - anything goes!
If you love live music but aren't in a quartet (or your quartet isn't available on this date), please come along and enjoy the show! Family and friends are welcome too.
Bookings are open now via our website! Numbers are limited, so share this event with your singing friends to make sure they don't miss out. Please book tickets online as we will not have cash facilities at the door, and last year we sold out in advance.
Doors will open at 2.40pm - no need to bring your ticket, as we'll have a door list with the names of all ticket-holders. Tickets are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another person.
Our usual venue is likely to be closed for renovations, so this year we're at Blue Sky Harmony's home base - the Performing Arts Centre at Everton Park State High School. For anyone wanting to grab dinner or a drink afterwards before the journey home, nearby Everton Plaza has several options.
Please be aware that photos and/or videos will be taken at this event. By attending the event, you are consenting for photos of you to be used by the organisers on social media and for other promotional purposes.
