September LEGO® Swap
FREE Event. Space is limited, so RESERVE your spot on EVENTBRITE.
Please be sure to register each adult and child attending, and complete the registration questions to be confirmed for the event. We will confirm your spot via email.
Join us for a community LEGO® swap and build event designed for kids and their families!
Kids 18 and under are welcome to participate — as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Bring your gently used LEGO® sets and/or minifigures to trade — and enjoy fun, family-style LEGO® challenges before the swap begins!
Prizes will be awarded for creativity, teamwork, and completion.
Gather Here and Give Opportunity
Families are encouraged to bring an extra gently used LEGO® set or a new school supply item to donate to the DC Dream Center, where it will be shared with children in their community programs. Part of Gather DC's mission is caring for our community!
Event Flow
- We’ll begin with mini LEGO® building competitions the whole family can enjoy.
- After the competitions, families will have time to preview all the LEGO® items on the swap tables.
- Then we’ll start the swap! Each participant will be given a number and called randomly to pick their item.
Swap Format
- LEGO® sets and minifigures will be swapped in separate rounds.
- If you bring a set, you’ll pick a set.
- If you bring a minifigure, you’ll pick a minifigure. Bring two, pick two.
- All swaps are lottery-style — no direct trades or money exchanges.
- By bringing an item, you agree to participate in the swap and accept the lottery process.
