Course summary: Fall management is the key to successfully overwintering honey bees. This three day class consists of classroom and hands-on lessons. Participants of all experience levels are welcome.
This course will help beekeepers understand the steps needed to better prepare honey bees for winter.
Topics include:
- Hive assessment (winter & spring)
- Fall pest and disease management
- Fall, winter, spring, and emergency feeding
- Hive configuration and insulation
We will provide lite refreshments.
