Registration link - https://actionnetwork.org/events/clean-airs-september-general-meeting/Register today for our September General Meeting - we will offer brief updates on our current campaigns and this meeting will feature the Kairos Witness to Injustice Exercise presented by our partners at Buffalo Nekenehsakt,Friends of Ekweheijwij, Kairos, and Neighbors of the Onondaga Nation (NOON).
The Witness to Injustice Exercise is a unique interactive group teaching tool. It uses participatory education to share the disturbing history of what Indigenous Peoples have experienced through colonization. The program seeks to foster truth, understanding, and respect between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in the part of the world now known as the United States; especially in the territory stewarded by people of the Onöndowa’ga:’ Nation and other Haudenosaunee peoples. We will break bread together with local Native made foods before the exercise. We will finish with closing circles to debrief and process together.
Doors will be at 5pm and food will be served then and we will start our presentation at 5:35pm sharp. We will wrap by 8pm.
