About this Event
Art and creativity are in Chicago’s DNA — after all, our city is the birthplace of blues, house music, industrial design and much more. In our next in-person roundtable, we’ll hear from artist Theaster Gates, musician Tom Higgenson, lead singer of the Plain White T’s, and other high-profile creatives on the power of art to drive tourism, build identity, and position Chicago on a global stage. Michelle Boone, president and CEO of The Poetry Foundation, will moderate.
We’ll explore how culture defines and sells Chicago’s story to the world — and how you’re part of it.
This event will take place in person at the Driehaus Museum and include light refreshments. Invitees are invited to visit the museum after the event.
Attendees are invited to bring guests from their organization -- please register your attendees (or ask your guests to register separately).
