About the Presenter
Sarah McCullough serves as Development and Tourism Manager for the Chickasaw Inkana Foundation. A nonprofit organization, the Foundation preserves, protects, and interprets the rich Chickasaw cultural heritage in the historic Homeland of the Chickasaw people. The Foundation is currently overseeing construction of the Chickasaw Heritage Center in Tupelo.
She previously served as Cultural Heritage Coordinator for Mississippi State University Libraries following six months with the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia. These positions followed ten years as cultural heritage tourism program manager with Visit Mississippi.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in history from Agnes Scott College in Atlanta, a Master of Historic Preservation from The University of Georgia and graduated from the Economic Development Institute at The University of Oklahoma. An avid traveler, she has traveled to over 50 countries and participated in international cultural heritage programs in Brazil, Ghana, Croatia, Thailand, and Australia.
