🌊💙 Sensory Sessions at Makino 💙🌊Join us for our Sensory Sessions held on the last Sunday of each month from 4:30pm – 5:45pm in the learn to swim pool at the Makino Aquatic Centre.
Our Sensory Sessions are designed to provide a calm, welcoming and inclusive environment for individuals and whānau who may benefit from a quieter swimming experience.
During the session we offer:
💦 Exclusive use of the Learn to Swim pool
🔇 Music turned off
🧸 Pool toys available
👨👩👧 Separate changing rooms
💙 Caregivers swim for free
🎟️ Normal admission fees apply
This is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the water in a more relaxed and supportive setting, with the pool closed off from the main public areas to help create a comfortable environment for everyone.
