About this Event
Sensory Processing and Wellbeing workshop for parents in Waltham Forest.
This workshop is designed to help parents understand their child’s sensory needs and how these needs can influence their wellbeing, behaviour, and everyday experiences.
You’ll learn what sensory processing is, how to recognise signs of overload or under‑stimulation, and simple strategies you can use throughout the day to support your child’s regulation and create calmer, more predictable routines.
The session is for parents and carers of neurodivergent children, or anyone wanting to better understand their child’s sensory world and gain practical tools in a supportive space. You can expect real‑life examples, time for questions, and practical ideas you can put into action straight away.
The workshop is led by our Neurodiversity Therapeutic Practitioner, who specialises in supporting neurodivergent children and their families.
