🎨 Senior Exhibition | Fall 2026Join the Pittsburg State University Department of Art as we celebrate the creativity, dedication, and artistic achievements of our graduating artists: Hunter Hughes, Morgan Hughes, and Kyleigh Talbott.
Through three distinct bodies of work, this exhibition explores themes of childhood, identity, vulnerability, human connection, and the passage of time.
🖼️ Hunter Hughes – BIRDS BIRDS BIRDS
Through print and digital media, Hunter revisits childhood memories and imagination, using playful symbolism and surreal imagery to explore the relationship between childhood and adulthood, while encouraging empathy toward nature and oneself.
🖼️ Morgan Hughes – Holding
Through ceramics and other works, Morgan explores what it means to care for, carry, and eventually let go of the things we hold dear. Her work reflects on love, impermanence, and the connections that shape our lives.
🖼️ Kyleigh Talbott – Woman in the Round
Through expressive watercolor and gouache self-portraits, Kyleigh challenges conventional beauty standards and explores vulnerability, self-acceptance, and the importance of finding connection through shared experiences.
