Meet Kelly Hill, SENDIASS Young Person Advisor
Kelly is one of the Young Person Advisors at Worcestershire SENDIASS and is joining us at SEND Views & Voices in Redditch. Kelly helps young people with SEND understand their options and make their own informed decisions, either on their own or alongside their family. The support is free, confidential and impartial.
Come and chat with Kelly to:
Ask how a Young Person Advisor could work directly with your child or young person, from helping them prepare for and attend meetings like Annual Reviews, to explaining professional reports in a way that makes sense to them.
Learn about the support available to young people with SEND, including careers advice, help with the education, health and care needs assessment, and finding services through the Local Offer.
Understand how your young person can have their say when a decision is made about them that they don’t agree with, including advice on complaints and the EHCP appeal process.
