About this Event
Is your child or young person autistic, ADHD or otherwise neurodivergent? Do you have questions about how they are supported at school, or what good support should look like?
Join us for a relaxed, informal session with Gemma Halstead, Specialist Teacher and Autism/CCN Team Lead at Worcestershire County Council’s Autism and Complex Communication Needs (CCN) Team.
The team works with schools and settings across Worcestershire to support autistic children and young people and those with complex communication needs. This is your chance to hear from Gemma directly, find out how the team works, and ask the questions that matter to your family.
What we’ll talk about
- Autism, ADHD and neurodivergence in education
- What the CCN team does and how schools and settings can access their support
- How schools can better support neurodivergent children and young people
- Your questions, experiences and concerns
Who is it for?
