:::
SELIAS is a Toronto-based melodic death / alternative groove metal band built around crushing riffs, modern metal intensity, and massive melodic hooks. Founded in 2021 by guitarist Steve Elias, the band blends the aggression of melodic death metal with groove-driven songwriting, cinematic atmosphere, and a polished live presentation.
Following the release of their second album, KILLKARMA, SELIAS continued to build momentum across North America, with the record spending five consecutive months on the U.S. Metal Contraband Radio Top 50 chart and peaking at #17 in January 2026. Known for high-energy performances, dynamic visuals, and a sound that balances brutality with melody, the band has toured across Canada and the United States while continuing to grow their fanbase.
With a lineup featuring Neil Rash, Ania Fed, Steve Elias, Jeff Hyde, and Daniel Bouwman, SELIAS continues to establish itself as one of Canada’s rising forces in modern melodic metal.
