----------------------------------------------------------O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you;
My soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you,
as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary,
beholding your power and glory. Psalm 63:1,2

Hello there :)
On Saturday October 24th, we’re restarting our monthly worship and prayer nights for the Autumn.
We need more of Jesus... the church needs more of Jesus... this nation needs so much more of Jesus. We’ve tasted of His power and glory…. but He wants to pour out the increase, if we will seek His Face with all our hearts. So let's make the time and space for Him to fill us with a fresh encounter with His beauty, and an overflow of intercession for His Kingdom to come.
Doors open at 6:30PM for a 7:00PM start. We’re back at Waddington Street URC close to the railway viaduct.
Hope you can join us as we do just that, joining in unity from across the body of Christ, led by amazing local worship leaders.
Love and blessings
The Worship 24/7 team, Durham
Future Dates:
- Sat Nov 14th @ Waddington Street URC
- Sat Dec 5th @ Waddington Street URC

Are you wondering what we are up to?
After fifteen years of monthly gatherings, our heart is still to worship Jesus, overflow in intercession, and from that place to overflow into mission.
-- Jesus, Our First Love --
We’re making a space for Jesus to receive the worship of our hearts, to seek Him first because our greatest desire is simply to know Him. If that was all we were doing, it would be enough.
-- Face to face encounter --
We want the people of God to encounter His reality and see His glory. As we give time in worship and to press into His presence, He opens the eyes of our hearts, and we see the beauty of His face.
-- Keeping the fire burning --
We join as a body of many parts to make these extended times possible. As individuals we may only have a short time free, but together over the hours we lift a covering over our city and region… and prepare the way for those who follow.
-- A House of Prayer for all nations --
In this place of encounter, we catch the Father’s heart of compassion - and seeing His greatness our hearts believe all things are possible. It’s an amazing place to intercede for the church and the lost, for our city and nation.
-- Seeking the lost --
Sometimes this will be a springboard for us to make Jesus known in the streets. We may go out in pairs looking for Spirit led divine appointments, or as a larger group to worship and see the atmosphere change, and lives touched as we do.
-- Unity in the church -
We want to be a blessing to the whole body of Christ. We aren’t starting a new church! We honour local church leaders and want everything we do to release blessing back into the wider body.
