About this Event
Save seeds. Make art. Grow community.
Friday 16 October | 11am | Chester Lane Library
Our Chester Lane Seed Library is blooming and we’re giving this brilliant community project the finale it deserves! 🌻
Join us for a relaxed, creative community seed-saving workshop, led by the wonderfully talented Emma from Emma’s Wild Garden.
You’ll learn how to save seeds and create your own beautiful botanical-art seed packets ready to be filled with seeds and returned to the Chester Lane Seed Library for other local people to grow.
🎨 What we’ll be doing
🌱 Learn simple seed-saving techniques
🌻 Discover how to collect and store seeds
🎨 Create beautiful botanical-art seed packets
💚 Prepare seeds to share through the library

🌿 Why come along?
Because seed saving is about so much more than gardening.
It’s about sharing knowledge, protecting biodiversity, growing your own food and flowers, reducing waste and creating something that belongs to the whole community.
You don’t need to be an expert gardener complete beginners are very welcome!
Come along, get creative, learn something new and help us put more seeds back into the community.
🌻 Let’s finish this blooming brilliant project beautifully!
