Velvet Ritual is a new Darkwave/Post-Punk dance night in Birmingham, comprised of DJ's Maelstrom (The Midnight Effect, Shadow Garden) and Fatal Luxx (Little Miss Scare All), with our first event happening on Halloween Night at True Story Brewing! Come dressed up (or just as you are) to celebrate the biggest Goth night there is! As a special trick or treat, we are going hard on one of our main influences, Joy Division, and have a 180g vinyl copy of their album, "Still", to give away, as well as TWO tickets to the the Peter Hook show at Iron City in February! As one of the greatest bassists of all time, and a huge part of Joy Division's distinctive sound, this may be the only time you'll get see Hook in Birmingham performing Joy Division's 'Unknown Pleasures' and 'Closer' albums live and in full, plus selected extra tracks. Velvet Ritual is excited to be giving this away to one lucky winner! ❤️
