Second Nature examines the diversity of sex, gender, and family structures across the animal kingdom and reflects on what this can teach us about human identity, belonging, and wellbeing.

Narrated by Elliot Page, Second Nature follows trailblazing Evolutionary Biologist Dr. Joan Roughgarden as she meets groundbreaking scientists exploring the 1500+ animal species who engage in same-sex sexual behavior and parenting, change sex, form matriarchies, and more.

Join us afterward for a virtual talkback with the film's director, Drew Denny!
