Second Degree Reiki Training

Ready to take your Reiki practice beyond the basics?

Whether you’re interested in deepening your personal practice, working more effectively with others, or beginning to offer Reiki professionally, this class combines traditional Reiki teachings with practical experience, energetic anatomy, research, and real-world considerations for practitioners.

Prerequisite: A Reiki First Degree/Reiki I certificate is required. Your previous training does not need to have been completed at the Healing room or Holistic Health Cleveland.

You’ll learn the traditional Second Degree Reiki symbols, what they represent, and how and when to use them. We’ll explore the Reiki legend along with what is known about Reiki’s history, and take a closer look at the physics of Reiki—how frequency and energetic interaction may help us understand what happens during a session and how to talk about Reiki with clients in an understandable way.

We’ll also explore energetic anatomy and the biofield, including changes associated with the Reiki attunement process, what may be different about a trained practitioner’s biofield, and ways to increase your capacity to become a stronger, more effective channel for Universal Energy.

For students who already practice massage, bodywork, or another healing modality, we’ll discuss ways Reiki can be comfortably integrated into the work you already do.

If you’re thinking about offering Reiki professionally, we’ll cover some of the practical questions that often arise when making that transition, including:

• How to begin charging for Reiki sessions
• Ethics, boundaries, and staying within the scope of your practice
• Reiki organizations and governing bodies
• Professional liability insurance
• Legal considerations for Reiki practitioners in Ohio

An important part of Second Degree training is actually doing the work. Your practicum gives you the opportunity to experience and practice a variety of techniques with guidance from your instructor.

You’ll work with:

• Body scanning
• Beaming
• Distant Reiki
• Group healing
• Reiki approaches for addiction work
• Techniques for empaths that move beyond simply shielding yourself and instead focus on recognizing and processing energetic frequency

Class includes Second Degree Reiki attunements, lecture and discussion, hands-on practicum, and a comprehensive Reiki manual that you can continue to use as a reference after the training.

Upon successful completion of the class, you’ll receive your Second Degree Reiki Certificate.

And your connection with the Reiki community doesn’t have to end when class is over. All students are invited to free Reiki Share nights, held approximately every four to six weeks. These relaxed gatherings give you an opportunity to continue practicing, build confidence, ask questions, and spend time with other Reiki practitioners.

Fran Kerg brings 30 years of experience in energy medicine and energetic bodywork to her classes. Her extensive training includes certificates in more than 20 energy-based modalities, giving her a broad perspective that goes well beyond a single approach to energy work.

At her Fairview Park office, Fran offers energetic bodywork, frequency-based sessions, human biofield scanning, and training in Reiki, Chakra Harmonics, and other energy-related subjects.

Her teaching style combines traditional energetic practices with science, research, practical application, and plenty of opportunity to ask questions and gain hands-on experience. Fran's Website
