After 2 Years: Current State and Challenges of Research on Anti-Gender PoliticsThe Second Annual Conference of COST Action CA23149 brings together the network to discuss advances and challenges in comparative research on anti-gender politics across Central and Eastern Europe and the Near and Middle East.

CALL FOR PAPERS
We welcome papers that compare cases, identify cross-regional patterns, or advance conceptual and methodological approaches to comparison.
Proposals should address one of the following working-group streams:
▪ WG1: Revealing the historical, social-political and economic background conditions
▪ WG2: Deciphering the triangle of state, civil society and anti-gender actors
▪ WG3: Rethinking activism and forms of opposition with a focus on unexpected allies
▪ WG4: Dissemination and outreach activities
The two-day programme will include panel sessions for each working group and a dedicated session for young scholars, who will also receive priority in the selection process.
HOW TO SUBMIT
Submit an abstract of 250–300 words stating your main argument, methodology and/or conceptual framework, and indicating your chosen working group.
Each proposal may be submitted to one working-group stream only.

TRAVEL REIMBURSEMENT
Participants whose presentations are selected through this call will be eligible to claim travel reimbursement through e-COST, in accordance with the applicable COST Action rules.
