Walking the newly revived AmeriCorps Trail and other Laguna trails, with walk leader Richard Nichols. 4.5 miles. Meet at the Plaza at 9 AM, return by noon.
Starting at the Plaza, we'll walk through the Barlow to the trailhead at the west end of the Highway 12 bridge. The trail parallels the main channel and comes out at Laguna Park. We'll cross the seasonal bridge and walk the trail out to Kelly Pond and loop around back to the bridge. We'll then walk a loop through the old sewer pond area and return to the Plaza. We'll have some Laguna tales to tell along the way!
Wear good walking shoes and bring water and snacks.
